Thenùwhen pizza day rolls aroundùall I have to do is go to the freezer and select one container of crust, one sauce, one sausage, and one cheese . . . thaw everything . . . roll out the dough and spread on the sauce, sausage, and cheese . . . bake my creation at 450?F for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is slightly browned . . . and 'serve 'er up' to a hungry family of four.

Pain is weakness leaving the body.

http://www.maxioms.com/maxiom/45398

Pain is weakness leaving the body.

Facts in books, statistics in encyclopedias, the ability to use them in men's heads.

http://www.maxioms.com/maxiom/1139

Facts in books, statistics in encyclopedias, the ability to use them in men's heads.

Happiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down ...

http://www.maxioms.com/maxiom/18627

Happiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you

Man does not live for himself alone in this mortal body, in order to work on its account, but also ...

http://www.maxioms.com/maxiom/8279

Man does not live for himself alone in this mortal body, in order to work on its account, but also for all men on earth; nay, he lives only for others, and not for himself. For it is to this end that he brings his own body into subjection, that he may be able to serve others more sincerely and more freely... Thus it is impossible that he should take his ease in this life, and not work for the good of his neighbors, since he must needs speak, act, and converse among men, just as Christ... had His conversation among men... It is the part of a Christian to take care of his own body for the very purpose that by its soundness and wellbeing he may be enabled to labor... for the aid of those who are in want, that thus the stronger member may serve the weaker member, and we may be children of God, and busy for one another, bearing one another's burdens, and so fulfilling the law of Christ.

The Bible contains the revelation of the will of God. If we admit that men can do very well without Christ, we accept the Saviour only as a luxury for ourselves. If they can do very well without Christ, then so could we. This is to turn our backs upon the Christ of the gospels and the Christ of Acts and to turn our faces towards law, morality, philosophy, natural religion. We look at the moral teaching of some of the heathen nations and we find it higher than we had expected... Or we look at morality in Christian lands, and we begin to wonder whether our practice is really much higher than theirs, and we say, "They are very well as they are. Leave them alone." When we so speak and think we are treating the question of the salvation of men exactly as we should have treated it had Christ never appeared in the world at all. It is an essentially pre-Christian attitude, and implies that the Son of God has not been delivered for our salvation. It suggests that the one and only way of salvation known to me is to keep the commandments. That was indeed true before the coming of the Son of God, before the Passion, before the Resurrection, before Pentecost; but after Pentecost that is no longer true. After Pentecost, the answer to any man who inquires the way of salvation is no longer "Keep the law," but "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.".

If I ever opened a trampoline store, I don't think I'd call it Trampo-Land, because you might think it was ...

http://www.maxioms.com/maxiom/11774

If I ever opened a trampoline store, I don't think I'd call it Trampo-Land, because you might think it was a store for tramps, which is not the inpression we are trying to convey with our store.
